Overnight success is often a misnomer. Behind every instant success, there is a lot of hard work, perseverance and learning from failures. There is a consistent effort rather than overnight transformation.
Potty training is a process that needs groundwork to finish successfully. Every child learns at their own pace. Maybe it appears sudden success to someone but behind the scenes, there is a lot of hard work, dedication and consistent practice.
I defined overnight potty success as educating the child by reading books, preparing parents and children, understanding the child’s body cues, phasing out diapers/pull-ups, regular bathroom visits, celebrating dry nights and positive reinforcement.
Last but not least changing the MINDSET about the process will lead to overnight success!
